Core to the system is the S&E audit both before and after an investment is made. The audit identifies companies’ strengths and weaknesses in labor force management, health and safety, corporate governance, pollution, resource utilization and other important S&E areas. It assesses compliance with legislation, organizational policies and best practices. The audit also prioritizes actions that need to be undertaken.
